Final Christmas Card For 2011

It's the day after Christmas, but that's not to say Christmas is over. There are after all, twelve days of Christmas. So.... I have one last card to share with you for 2011.

(Note: this card was also featured on the Classy Cards 'N Such blog, with more info about the products I used.)

I used Christmas paper from Webster's pages, which I just love!

The flourish was made using a Cheery Lynn die. It cuts out so easily; such a beautiful embellishment. The pretty lace trim is from Classy Cards 'N Such (as is the paper and the die) and is one of my favorites to use when I need something very delicate and narrow. And at only 50 cents a yard, it's an awesome buy! :-)

For my sentiment, I stamped it in black onto a Spellbinder's 14 labels die, sponged around the edges, and for the accent I used the coordinating Want To Scrap rhinestones.

I added some tiny little Want To Scrap red baby pearls for berries onto my holly flourish, and then glittered some of the leaves so it looks as if they are dusted with snow. I really like how it turned out.

Most everything I used is available at Classy Cards 'N Such. (Click on the product names mentioned above; I have linked them to the store for you.) And remember- all you have to do is put in the code SARAH-10 and you will save 10% off your order!

So that's my final Christmas card for this year. My Christmas tree was so dry and droopy that ornaments were falling off and breaking. Today Bert from Sesame Street came crashing down and lost a leg. My eldest son had that ornament since he was a little boy- probably about 20 years ago. He is so bummed. I think I can glue it and maybe put a little paint on it and it will be "okay", but that was the last straw. I think we ended up having about 10 ornaments break this year because of that darn tree (it's a long story, but this was surely the worst tree we have ever had!). At any rate, it is now outside on the curb. I will, however, leave the remaining decorations up until Epiphany :-)

I hope you had a wonderful, blessed Christmas day. And, to quote the sentiment on my card:
I wish you a never ending season of love and peace.
Thanks for stopping by!

I love the flourish going over the lace trim:)
That spellbinders die is so lovely and the gems around it and on the flourish are the perfect touch!

Sarah, your card is absolutely gorgeous! I love all the embellishments and bling you used. Thanks for the link to where you bought your supplies.

Sorry about your tree. I don't do real anymore, but will also keep my things up til Twelfth Night.
